Most greyhound racing cards, have use abbreviations to save space and are quite logical. Abbreviations that are used are usually quite straightforward but other lesser known are difficult to understand, especially for people that do not use race-cards very often.

This guide to greyhound abbreviations that are often used should assist in giving a better understanding of some of the terms used. This is a guide to the terms most often used and therefore we have missed some out.
